Holiday Card Line | Hip-Hip | 2015
Hip-Hip’s Christmas line was designed to be both fun and cheeky, adding a touch of playful irreverence to the holiday season. It featured cheerful sentiments, festive animals, and just a dash of "bah humbug" attitude to keep things grounded. I designed the cards to offer a humorous twist on traditional holiday sentiments in order to create a line that was unexpected and unconventional.
The grumpy cat, white tiger, and whale were some of the top performers of this group and went on to be licensed by several stationery companies. The winter tiger was even turned into a wrapping paper print!
Big Honkin’ Holiday Gift Tags | Hip-Hip | 2015
When it came time to launch Hip-Hip’s first holiday collection, I wanted to offer an item outside greeting cards that could still be produced on paper. These ‘Big Honkin’ Tags’ were the solution! They were sold in sets of four, had unique die-cut edges, featured pom-poms, and were almost as large as a regular card. With 3 different themes varying from silly to modern-traditional, there was something for everyone on your gift-giving list!
These tags were a test-run for future die-cut cards and tags. See how they evolved in this gallery!
