Office Mural | Private Residence | 2025
Designed for the home office of a Certified Flight Instructor and aviation professor, this mural celebrates the love of flight in a fresh, unexpected way. I used abstract shapes and geometric patterns to create the feeling of flight with an airplane soaring over a stylized landscape. This allows both the aviation enthusiast and his wife, who shares the space, to enjoy a colorful and inspiring work environment. The mural designed as an unexpected pop to the home office and doubling as a playful backdrop for video calls. Both office-mates say it’s been a great conversation-starter for work meetings!
I transferred my digital sketch into the space using the grid method and taped off blocks of color for clean edges. The airplane and circles were painted free-hand. In addition to the mural, I recommended the ceiling light and area rug to finish off the space!
